So i went to see The hangover 2 last week and i was a bit disappointed. I expected it to pleasantly surprise me as the first one did but it didn’t. Don’t get your hopes toohigh for this movie. It seems like the director either tried way too hard to make this movie funny or not at all. Too many random things were thrown in the movie in attempts to make it own up to all the expectations. A crack dealing, cigarette smoking monkey c’mon that’s just random as all hell. New characters are also in this movie and it doesn’t really seem to go along with the previous ones. What happened to the stripper?? And Liam Neeson was supposed to make an appearance but he didn’t! i was bummed. It reminded me of those sex crazed teenage movies like American Pie or Road trip. It’s pretty much just a series of unfortunate events all bunched together that deters you from the whole point of the movie. I’d say this movie is more of a time killer than anything else. Instead of making the sequel better it was almost the exact same thing just worse. I actually watched it twice (not my choice) and it was funnier the second time. I’m guessing it’s because the first time i had high expectations for it whereas the second time i already knew what to expect. I much prefer the first hangover way more.
Commercials and their BS
There is a carl’s Jr. commercial out right now that i find a bit offensive. Not to me personally but to others. Check it out:
it’s pretty messed up how they say, “we believe in using hot models because ugly ones don’t sell burgers” I mean that may be true but who are they to hate on those who may not fit the criteria of what they believe is a “hot” model. The models they use like Ms. Turkey or whatever isn’t even all that herself. And speaking of commercials Kim Kardashian really needs to stop making them. Her Sketchers commercial is so ridiculous to me she’s not even selling the damn shoe. All her commercials have to play on her looks and be made all extra sensual. She made a salad look dirty come on now. It’s just so unnecessary. This is why i’d rather not watch t.v.
for those who hate their boss…
check this game out it’s very stress relieving for those of you who may have a lot of anger towards certain people as i do, this is a great way to let it out it’s pretty hilarious to here’s the link: http://www.whackyourboss.com/
-A friend of mine came across it i don’t know how but she showed it to me sometime last week and the laughing i did really helped me alleviate some anger. So basically what you have to do is click on different items in the office and find the 20 different ways you can whack your boss. It gets challenging after a while and the last one is always a mission to find, use your imagination and good luck with it! enjoy, i know i sure as hell did =)
Flip The Script
i was just watching tv with my dad and we were watching a Spanish version of judge Judy pretty much and it got me thinking of just how ridiculous the web of deceit is when it comes to “reality shows” and tv sitcoms. The particular case that we were watching was about this married couple and the husband wanted a divorce from his wife because he found out that she cheated on him. So that was the initial problem but eventually it turned into a soap opera and next thing you know their 21 year old daughter shows up pregnant by her husband who slept with her mother and impregnated her. So the mother slept with her daughter’s husband and is expecting a baby from him and so is the daughter. Meanwhile the husband, the father of the 21 year old daughter is just pissed off and in shock of all he’s hearing cuz he’s just finding all this out. You can imagine how pist off he must be finding out that some guy is screwing his wife and daughter at the same time. I found it hilarious because the storyline is just so ridiculous its Jerry springer all over again. Don’t get me wrong it’s entertaining but how gullible do they expect people to really be? I’d for once like to actually watch a show that’s not scripted that’s just 100% raw reality. I think it’d be even more entertaining then the scripted versions out there taking over the world. That’s another thing I’ve noticed it seems that everyone has a damn show out there. Reality shows are literally on every channel especially on cable. Mtv went from music television to reality television. What the hell? At least make them original what do we care about “Tiny and Toya” or Jersey Shore its just a bunch of 30 year olds going through a mid life crisis trying to regain their days of youth. For those of you who are fans of JS, no offense but its true. Don’t lynch me for it.
Fast Five Review
this past weekend i watched the highly anticipated Fast Five. I had seen the making of the film and can understand why everyone was so ampped up for it. It looked very promising and it definitely delivered! Once we(my aunt, cousin and I) we saw that every show was sold out. The next available show was 2 hours later. We purchased our tickets and went straight to the theater and made line. We were second, stuck behind this young couple. Anyway after about 2 hours and 20 minutes waiting, we were finally allowed in. As soon as the movie started i said to myself this ought to be good. I had seen all the other past Fast and Furious movies and though they were great so this latest installment had a lot of expectations to meet. Luckily those expectations were exceeded. After the first 10 minutes or so i was hooked. The movie is jam packed with action, stunts, surprises, twists and turn both figuratively and literally. Not to mention killer rides. Just when you think you now what’s gonna happen next BOOM something unexpected happens. Thee stunts are amazing the plot worked very well with the storyline and the fact that all the past characters are brought back and reunited for one last job.. It reminded me of Ocean’s Eleven. Not to mention the fight scene between Vin Diesel and The Rock is amazing. One things for sure the most surprising part is the ending so if you haven’t seen this movie, i suggest you do its nothing short of an adrenaline rush. By far the best Fast and Furious thus far. I highly recommend it even if you’re not a fan of the movies, this will definately be worth your money.
news
if you ask me i think the news has become more of a gossip column, at least local news especially fox 11. Instead of informing us about global issues, the so called news seems to be more celebrity based than anything else. If you notice most news revolves in some way around celebrities. Charlie Sheen for instance, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, now the royal wedding. How is that news. Sure its a big deal that kate middleton is a “commoner” marrying a prince but so what? It;s just a wedding. GET OVER IT! It’s slowly turning into TMZ. It’s as if they’re trying to get more ratings by using celebrities and scandal. Troops are still out at war. People all around the world are suffering and need help instead of reporting on it and getting it out to the public, the media chooses to be in London at the royal wedding instead. Or making some other celebrities’ problems public. It’s a waste of 60 minutes.
